Elizabeth Walton is a multidisciplinary artist. She performs improvised piano and classical guitar in ensemble and as a soloist.

Her project, Honey with Rich and Liz has released two albums of original material, “Valentine’s Day” (EP) and “Blessed Bee” which featured on ABC Radio and regional radio stations. The band plays regularly at concerts and festivals throughout New South Wales. Mick Elderfield, Tom Squeezebox and Dave Sparks appear on the personnel for studio and live recordings. The albums are a mix of styles and genres from folk to pop and ethereal-experimental.

Elizabeth’s solo work has featured on film video and commercial shoots. She created a simplistic video for her live improvisation of Richard Lawson’s Fantasy of Lovely with Mick Elderfield (sax). Visual artist Sam Paine created an iconic set entirely made of paper and Hallmark cards for the Valentine’s Day’s single

Elizabeth studied music at Sydney’s Conservatorium of Music and the University of New South Wales. She teaches piano, classical guitar, improvisation and drumming. She was also the leader of drumming group Bella Djemballa. She brings her perception of music into her writing, both in fiction and nonfiction, reviewing bands and music festivals.
